Setlist (I lost the order after Million Miles):
Drum Circle Jam with looped guitar
1980
One Million Miles an Hour, Fast Asleep
Consequential Apathy (Yes, I'm serious)
Dinna Dawg
Mientras
My Lonesome Only Friend
It's Only Another Parsec
Only From the Night (Drum Circle with someone else, maybe from Zechs Marquise)
March of the Caterpillar
In Her Drawer
Encore (they made us work for it, and I thank my very tall friend JB for getting the crowd chanting for so long):
Bring Our Children Home
Decrescendo (huge jam for like 10 minutes - lots of crowd singing back with woahohohs)
I've seen RXB 7 times before now, and they've never been so fucking good. They were tight, probably a third of the show was INTENSE jamming, and they were smiling and clearly loving it, despite some minor moshing (guilty) and a few crowd surfers. Matt had some awesome words about the giant RX balloon floating about, did lots of air punches, dancing, and had this awesome tidbit after a wicked solo jam:
"You fucking loved that tune, didn't you?"
"YEAAAH!"
"And you fucking love me, don't you?"
"YEEAAH!"
"Haha, I didn't say that."
That was the best night of my life - they were fucking ON POINT! It was also my first RXB show not in England, and I love how receptive the crowd was.
Sorry for lack of details, writing this on my phone on the drive back to Oklahoma.
