Stupid question- does anyone know if there is anywhere near the gramercy theater that might have lockers or anything to store some crap.

Ive never been to NY, so plan to do some touristy things during the day, and do not really want to head all the way back to my buddies place to drop off stuff i dont need during the show. It would be nice if there i could just stash my backpack in a locker and forget about it until after the show.

hmmm not off the top of my head. You could call the venue and ask if they have a coat check .. they might be able to hold some random items there?

Sorry i didn't check this thread in a while, but all three shows were fucking incredible. The Mandala show was out of control. I didn't get any footage because my phone sucks, but some of my friends may have recorded from their iPhones.

BTW, awesome venue, allowed us to smoke a great deal of tasty bud.

i think the first night was my favorite encore...they came back one with vcg3, atbb, my lonesome only friend, and bring our children home. for me, the horns didn't really add much for the first night, maybe the mics weren't as loud as the second night, but they were still cool. 2nd night encore...overcome, taking chase, and infection! 3rd night overcome, unborn daughters only for the night (i might be missing one). i don't know if it was just me not being as fucked up as everyone else, but i thought the crowd for madala was the most annoying. im sure they were all just very excited fans, as was i, but i wanted to punch the guy standing next to me so bad haha BUT rxb could not have played any tighter. i say that every year and every year they prove me wrong. every song sounded flawless and so much better live. the songs they never play (newstand rock, epoxi-lips...), sounded like they play those songs every night, they sounded incredible! i really hope they realize how good those songs sound and they'll play them more often

was it just me being retarded, or did they not play republic? i really can't remember, i feel like they went straight from taking chase to mastering the list

youre right, they didnt play republic. Apparently sheets wrote the song so they didnt play it. wish they had.

second nights encore was the best. but to see them play the resignation made the 3 day event.

Night 2, they also played Consequential Apathy for the encore.

they also skipped republic the first night. only song they missed. Sounded pretty blatant.

Pretty sick experience over all. I think thursday and sat were the best. Alot of the ATBB songs sounded like they were just getting through them, regardless if they had a jam in them or not. They played overcome every single night. Make sense I guess.

The venues alright. Good sound but the security can be tight. I think the only reason people were getting away with smoking was becuase EVERYONE was and they couldnt do any thing about it. I saw them catch some people but dont think anyone got kicked out.

I got lucky the second night cause I didnt have a ticket and waited outside for like 4 hours trying to find one as well as helping a couple of other kids who had never seen the bandits find some. Ended up gettin mine form a dude how legitimately looked like he was in his 50's, was awesome. Saw him after teh show and he said it was great. Almost got beat up by a scalper. Got some free bud. Meet some cool kids.

Embree said some touching shit the last night. He shouted out their crew, roger, chase, sam, kathy, and i forgot the merch girls name. (the people behind the scene) He also said that it was " a monumental event for them as a band" and thanked everyone, especially those who made it all three nights. even said he would remember these 3 nights on his deathbed.

I got some video which im sorting through now. Some of its shacky and far away cause I had to keep on the down low. One security guy saw me just holding my camera up for a little while and started flashing me with his light and eyeing me down.

Crowd was really into it. Was awesome seeing everyone just bounce during Unborn form way up top. Only night I was acutally in the crowd was thursday, the rest of the nights i kinda chilled back or sat up top.

Ive been seeing this band for 9 years now and its crazy how many fans they got these days. It really seems like every show gets bigger and bigger, louder and louder. I even saw kathy and thanked her on thursday cause Ive seen them so many times but never heard pal truex, falling down, or newstand, and she said "me neither!"

Ill try and and the video as quick as I can but im working on a friends comp so time is limited...

That very well could have been me you wanted to punch. I came all the way from Chicago to see the 3 nights, and had never been to NYC before. Saturday night was a mix of last night of vacation and amazing music. I may have over indulged on the spirits. Thought i kept it under control while in the crowd though. So sorry if it was me. :-)

Can not wait to see them next weekend in chicago
