Drive-Thru can't sign them up for this stuff anymore, can they? I know their contract is broken, but Drive-Thru still has rights to (and earns royalties from) The Res, Progress, and Halfway. So would they be signing up RxB unwillingly because they know people will want to download songs from that era? Articles about this that I've read say it's being distributed to bands, producers, and record labels alike.

Cathy, any light on this would be awesome. You don't have to spoil which songs or anything, but at least confirm if this is the Bandits' decision or Drive-Thru's.

I think they're hoping to launch the Rock Band Network pretty soon.

I've been checking youtube pretty frequently as Wave Group Sounds have been putting up previews of songs they're charting. No Rx Bandits yet though unfortunately...

I've never been able to get into these games. They've always seemed like it would take about the same time to master the in-game songs as it would be to actually learn them. Not trying to knock anyone, I have lost many hours to Halo and Call of Duty, as well as my guitar:)

I can see what you're saying, but it's a different setup. I can play guitar and bass, but I couldn't play guitar as well as the guys. Figuring out some of the bass stuff would take a while too. With this, you can just pick up the game and play away without having to think too hard.

I mean, I mainly play drums in the game and there's not a chance I could play along to a track (and competently) without some sort of 'guide', let alone actually fit a drumkit in the house and play without disturbing neighbours.

But what I'd really love to see is more people hearing Rx Bandits, and I'd be interested to see people attempting to play some of their songs. Hehe

Where did you see this? I still haven't seen any extra info since the initial press release. All the others have releasesed songs on RBN but Bandits don't even have the track confirmed? Come on guys!
